Merry Christmas… now onto the main event!

My whole life I’ve kind of thought of Christmas as sort of an obstacle to get through so I could get to the real party. By real party I mean my birthday on January 1st! And I know that everyone insists on celebrating something else on that day, but I just pretend that they’re all celebrating for me and everyone’s happy.
I’m going to be twenty, for all those who wish to know. I still don’t have any idea how to celebrate. I was thinking of going to New York City – not to Times Square, just to the city to stumble around drunk and forget the fact that I no longer get to be a teenager… Ah well.
